A sad passing

Tragically today, Monday 13 June, Tom Fearon’s wee Cocker Spaniel Minnie, a loving little soul and a very promising Trailing dog trainee, had to be put to sleep. Minnie had been suffering for a few weeks and had begun to deteriorate to the point of complete kidney failure. She had stopped eating and had become exhausted, listless and distressed, leaving Tom and his family no other choice.

The profound sympathies of all of us in SARDA Ireland North, go out to Tom and his family on the death of such a lovely wee dog. Minnie welcomed everyone she met and did not have a bad bone in her body. Go in peace little one…..go in peace………………..

And only I walk woodland paths
and see ahead of me,13435579_971486322965760_7902968704208833071_n
your small form racing with the wind
so young again, and free.

And only I can see you swim
in every brook I pass
and when I call, no one but I
can see the bending grass.
